Summer 2026 | Mechanical Engineering Internships – University Level

MainResponsibilities 

As a electrical engineering intern at CIMA you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to projects within your host team. Depending on the department (Buildings Energy & Resources Infrastructure etc.) your responsibilities may include: 

• Participate in the design of mechanical systems: plans schematics 3D models HVAC plumbing industrial equipment pumps ventilation systems etc. 

• Perform calculations and analyses: flow rates pressure losses ventilation analysis equipment selection thermal balance calculations and system sizing. 

• Contribute to modeling and technical drawings using tools such as AutoCAD Revit SolidWorks etc. 

• Participate in site visits or surveys: equipment inspections validation of mechanical installations and support for construction monitoring. 

Qualifications :

Profile 

• Currently registered in Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate degree 

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously 

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
