About the role:

Were currently seeking a Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at St Vincents Private Hospital Brisbane on a casual basis. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist or provisionally registered Psychologist who is looking for flexible work opportunities within a supportive and cohesive private hospital environment providing psychological support to our patients their families and employees as required.

Your duties will include:

Provide education and support to inpatients on an individual and group basis

Design and implement relevant educational content for patients
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and in-services

Things that work for us:

Registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Psychologist. Provisionally registered candidates must have own arrangements for clinical supervision requirements.
Advanced skills knowledge and experience in treating patients with chronic pain and/or rehabilitation
Excellent interpersonal time management and communication skills
Ability tomaintaincollaborative and effective relationships with all multidisciplinary team members
Ability to provide clinical practice and care consistent with the mission and philosophy of the facility
Ability to plan and coordinate patient/resident/client care effectivelymaintainpatient advocacy and utilise patient management systems
Ability toparticipatein and support education activities and to contribute to the development of self and other team members with experience in running group- based pain management programs preferred
