Job Summary

Were looking for a motivated Utility Worker to join our team in Lower Hutt Wellington. In this role youll provide general labouring field support and assistance to Gas crews ensuring work is carried out safely efficiently and to specification. Youll also help maintain equipment optimise resource use and communicate with clients residents and the public as needed.
Your daytoday tasks may include operating plant and equipment (where trained) carrying out risk assessments supporting job planning documenting work and ensuring all site activities meet safety quality and environmental requirements. If youre someone who is practical reliable safetyfocused and enjoys varied outdoor work this role offers longterm opportunity within a supportive team.

You will bring:
Essential
- Current Class 1 drivers licence
- Commitment to safe work practices and Zero Harm systems
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with clients residents and the public
Desirable
- Heavy trade licence
- Industryrelated experience
