Graduate of BS Chemical Engineering BS Electrical Engineering or BS Mechanical Engineering
At least 510 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing setup at Supervisory to Managerial level
Strong ability to manage conflicts and oversee day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities
Demonstrated broad understanding of plant operations with strong focus on Engineering and Maintenance
Highly analytical with strong execution skills
Proven leadership planning and people management capabilities
Directs and controls plant and equipment maintenance to ensure all machines and facilities operate efficiently and safely in accordance with engineering best practices corporate and regional standards company policies and established Management Systems.
Ensures proper handling storage and disposal of used oil and other wastes in compliance with EHS regulations.
Ensures factory operations run efficiently with minimal disruption caused by machine breakdowns supporting productivity and output targets.
Oversees repair and maintenance works to ensure high-quality workmanship eliminating rework and minimizing downtime.
Validates technicians work to ensure tasks are executed correctly safely and within required timelines.
Ensures Machine and Facilities Checklists are consistently and accurately completed.
Conducts regular machine audits to verify proper equipment use care and preventive practices.
Develops and implements the Annual Preventive Maintenance Program for the entire plant.
Determines machine equipment and spare parts life cycles to establish appropriate preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
Ensures all machine breakdowns and downtimes are properly recorded and documented.
Analyzes downtime data to identify root causes and implements corrective and preventive actions.
Identifies critical spare parts and ensures availability to reduce operational downtime.
Assists in the preparation and management of the annual capital expenditure and repair & maintenance budgets ensuring cost control within approved limits.
Initiates and manages innovation and improvement projects to enhance plant performance and long-term sustainability.
Leads the testing commissioning and turnover of engineering projects.
Initiates RPA documentation and prepares progress and project completion reports.
Ensures engineering and maintenance personnel possess the required qualifications and competencies.
Develops training programs through in-house initiatives or external training providers.
Coordinates closely with the Manufacturing Manager and Operations Senior Manager to gather and implement feasible cost-effective improvement initiatives for plant operations.
Executes and monitors projects focused on mitigating environmental impact and continuously improving the companys environmental performance.
