The Payroll Coordinator will process the organizations payroll functions ensuring pay is processed on time accurately and in compliance with government regulations. The position is fully remote but the possibility of having to travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers processing of organizations payroll and collects payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records.
- Implements maintains and reviews timekeeping and payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of timesheets for payroll transactions including salaries benefits garnishments taxes and other deductions.
- Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires terminations Project changes and changes to pay rates.
- Audits payroll information for accuracy.
- Reconciles payroll hours and earnings tax withholdings wage garnishments and voluntary deductions.
- Participates in problem solving and special projects within the Payroll Department.
- Maintain employees current resource data in the all company systems.
- Monitors company Payroll email box and responds accurately and timely to all inquires.
- Work with Employees Payroll Information Technology and Human Resources teams closely to resolve any timesheet and/or payroll related issues
- Generate various compliance reports regularly to ensure timely submission and approval of timesheets.
- Ad-hoc reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- Familiarity with payroll processing systems. ADP preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Teams Excel Word Outlook) required
Required Work Experience
- 1 - 2 years of payroll processing experience required.
Required Competencies
- Strong quantitative skills data analysis and spreadsheet knowledge.
- Solid customer relations skills and ability to handle highly sensitive/confidential information.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills a must.
- Must be self-motivated strong problem solver and High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
