About the Role
At Sesame were pushing the boundaries of wearable technology with our innovative intelligent eyewear and were looking for a forward-thinking Eyewear Manufacturing Engineer to help bring our vision to this role you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge design and precision production turning breakthrough concepts into high-quality manufacturable products. This role requires an individual passionate about smart technology and meticulous engineering who thrives on solving complex manufacturing challenges.
Responsibilities:
Develop and refine manufacturing processes to transform smart glasses designs into manufacturable products.
Collaborate closely with design engineering and quality assurance teams to seamlessly integrate advanced technologies with stylish durable eyewear.
Drive continuous improvements in production efficiency and implement rigorous quality control measures.
Work directly with suppliers to secure the high-quality materials needed for production.
Leverage a data-driven approach to optimize processes reduce costs and scale production while mitigating risks throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering preferably within consumer electronics or the eyewear industry.
Demonstrated expertise in process optimization quality control and managing full-cycle production.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in process automation and the use of manufacturing technologies.
Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience integrating smart technology into wearable devices.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
A track record of innovation and adaptability in fast-paced high-growth environments.
