Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to operate various heavy machinery including trucks front-end loaders dozers and graders in a safe and efficient manner. The operator will also perform maintenance clean and secure equipment according to company policies.

Job Duties Include:

Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury property damage or loss of life
Precision Digging be able to hold grade on footing and size.
Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant policies and procedures
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
Advise the Foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs
Participate in routine maintenance
Practice workplace safety

Job Requirements:

Experience is preferred.
Able to pass a drug test.
Must be able to move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Repetitive use of hands for simple grasping pushing pulling and fine manipulation required
Frequent standing bending kneeling squatting ladder and stair climbing and occasional crawling and twisting are a must to perform the basic functions of the job
Follow instructions as directed by foreman/superintendent.
Must be able to follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
