• Lead groups of up to 20 students through curriculum-guided activities
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
• Have fun and create a fun experience for the children
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use the information to adjust teaching strategies
• Adequately prepare for each program by reading curriculum watching training videos and/or participating in face-to-face training sessions
• Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs
• Encourage students & parents to enroll students in future Snapology programs
• Participate in periodic Snapology training & staff meetings as required

• A clear Criminal and Child Abuse Registry screening
• Experience working with children in a classroom or camp environment
• Education degree or teaching experience recommended for Lead Instructors
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
• Have reliable insured transportation to transport materials and conduct mobile classes around the east side of Atlanta

• Locations: Decatur Virginia Highlands and Chamblee
• Dates: February Break (2/16-2/20) Spring Break (4/6-4/10) and Summer Break (5/26-7/31)
• Camp Hours: 8:45-1:00 9-3 and 9-4 (depending on location)

• After-School Classes: 1-2 hours in length and occur between 2:00pm6:00pm on school days
• Evening/Weekend Classes: 1-4 hours in length and occur in the evenings and on weekends
• Daytime Events: 1-4 hours in length and occur during the school day
• Evening/Weekend Workshops: 2-4 hours in length and occur during the evening and on weekends
• Birthday Parties: 2 hours in length and occur on weekends
