Within the Middle Mile Product and Technology organization our Fleet Tech team is responsible for managing the fleet of every asset used in Amazons Transportation network worldwide. That includes tractors trailers containers and other specialized equipment together these assets constitute one of the largest transportation and logistics operations in the world. Our products manage asset life cycle from them entering the Amazons network till their divestment. We provide the source of truth on real-time states of the network just-in-time event notification and workflow management for maintenance and repair services. We are responsible for the technological products which optimize asset availability uptime compliance as well as providing critical decision making support for operational efficiency and safety in the network for our drivers carriers associates and our vendor networks.
Our team is actively seeking motivated and multi-talented individuals who are passionate about (re)inventing and transforming the transportation and logistics operations. We are inventing the next-generation intelligent fleet and smart warehouse by leveraging advanced technologies in IoT (Internet-of-Things) predicative analytics robotics etc.

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3 years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development Release or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
