The Clinical Director leads a team of clinicians and nursing staff overseeing all clinical operations of the program ensuring safety & compliance and driving a culture of excellence and collaboration. This role works closely with the Executive and Program Directors to support program success.

Our family-style residence fosters community engagement and interpersonal development creating a supportive environment for healing and Behavioral Health is nationwide network of behavioral health programs offering a full continuum of care for adolescents and young adults. Our programs span residential treatment centers outpatient clinics and moreeach committed to innovative evidence-based treatment that transforms lives.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Clinical Oversight
- Serve as a key member of the leadership team driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Lead the Clinical and Nursing Departments in developing and implementing short- and long-term plans.
- Ensure clinical integrity through adherence to policies innovative therapeutic interventions and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee admissions discharges and treatment planning to ensure successful outcomes and support the programs census goals.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and Admissions team to ensure census targets are met through timely clinical reviews appropriate client placement decisions and smooth transitions into and out of the program.
Team Development & Supervision
- Recruit retain and mentor top clinical talent to build a high-performing mission-driven team.
- Provide expert guidance crisis management support and supervision to clinical and nursing staff.
- Cultivate a culture of employee engagement satisfaction and continuous professional development.
Client-Centered Care & Direct Support
- Foster a collaborative care environment with clients families and the treatment team.
- Manage a small caseload (23 clients) offering direct therapeutic support and building meaningful relationships.
- Champion holistic family-system-based approaches to therapy that promote generational healing.
- Participate in on-call rotations
Operational & Regulatory Excellence
- Partner with the Executive Director to develop systems and processes that elevate operational metrics.
- Ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation and maintain compliance with all licensing and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure all insurance authorizations reviews and utilization management requirements are handled accurately and efficiently to support timely admissions continued stay and overall census stability.
- Support risk management efforts including investigations root cause analysis and trend identification.
Training & Continuous Improvement
- Provide ongoing training for clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure excellence across all facets of care.
- Lead clinical and residential training sessions and participate in professional development events
Qualifications
- Independently licensed Clinician in Oregon(LMFT LCSW LISW LCPC LPCC LPC PsyD or PhD).
- Ability to provide clinical supervision.
- Five years experience in social service or related field which must include experience working with high-risk adolescents.
- Proven experience serving ina managementand/or supervisory role of clinical staff.
- Knowledge of DSM-IV/V TR disorders and other pertinent issues facingthe clientsand their families.
- Knowledge of clinical terminology and multiple therapeutic interventions and techniques.
- Ability to provide clinical training as needed.
- Knowledge of the regulations and lawsregardingdocumentation reporting and confidentiality.
- Ability to make critical decisions based upon input from multiple sources.
- Skill in managing available resources creating a team environment selecting and building a team and proven exemplaryskillin both verbal and written communication.
- Ability to prioritize organize work effectively with professionalsfacilitatea team foster growth anddemonstratea healthy team approach.
- Understand andmaintainclear and ethical guidelines.
- Ability to use basic computer software and hardware.
- Drivers license in good standing
- Must be able to pass drug background and TB screenings.
