Manufacturing Operator, 3rd shift, 10 pm 630 am

The Role:

The Manufacturing Operator positionis responsible foroperating manufacturing equipment and/or various tasks such as inspecting data collection trimming testing fixturingassemblingand packaging. Completes other duties as assigned.

In this role you will:

• Verifies product visually and takes corrective action when necessary. Ensures product is consistent with established specifications. Escalates quality issues asappropriate. Ensureshighestpossible productquality and adherence to the Entegris quality systemISOand/or other standards. Ensures all product is packaged per packaging specifications.

• Performs various operations on the productin accordance withthe work orders and information instructions.

• Finalizes all required paperwork thoroughly andtimely(i.e.Production Reports Rack Tickets LabelsComponentSheets Rework Sheets SAP Transactions etc.). Maintainsaccurateattribute/variable charts of rejected materials. Conducts variable charts on manufacturing processes and count ofgood productas.

• Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the larger organization and production goals.

• Integrates on all key business processes to influence customer satisfaction waste elimination growth costeffectivenessand product/system quality. Promotes and implementsuseof continuous improvement tools toeliminatenon-value activities. Participates actively in continuous improvement activities such as 6s Kaizen events etc.

• Maintains a clean and safe work area. WearsPersonal Protective Equipment. Performs duties in a safe manner andobservesapproved safety procedures. Communicates potential hazardsimmediatelyto supervisor.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.

• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.

• Good attention to detail.

• Ability to perform basic math computations and computer data entry.

• Ability to use measuring devices and hand/power tools.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. climb a ladder up to 15 ft. and walk and stand duringentireshift.

• Ability to repetitively pinch and grasp hand tools repetitively twist bend and reach upward and handle small screws washers fasteners etc.

Entegris is currently seeking aMaintenance TechnicianCalibrationto join ourFacilitiesteam based in ourDanbury CTfacility.

In this role you willperform routine and complex work related to the adjustment and calibration of testmeasurementand diagnostic addition you willperform preventative and corrective maintenanceon manufacturing equipment.

WhatYoullDo

• Perform routine and complex work related to the adjustment and calibration of test measurement and diagnostic equipment.

• Retrieve assemble calibrate andmaintainvarious instruments and equipment that measure heat light voltage amperage weight vacuum etc.

• Supporting and sustaining manufacturing equipment through preventative and corrective maintenance within the SMG business unit in Danbury including Specialty Gas and Engineered Specialty Coatings equipment.

• Update data management / tracking databases on a continuous basis to provideaccurateand updated equipment and calibration records at all times.

• Carry out reliability and performance tests on equipment and make adjustments thatrequiredto adhere to government industry and organizational standards.

• Scheduling calibrations around equipment owner and production schedule needs.

• Coordinating with third party vendors for calibration services andpurchaseof new calibrated sensors.

• Learnmanufacturing processes and products from cross functionalteamincluding manufacturing and R&D.

• Investigate equipment failures and abnormalitiesdetermineroot cause build corrective actionplanand drive that plan to completion. This may include doing hands-on testing with toxic or hazardous materials.

• Perform other duties as assigned

WhatWeSeek

• High School Diploma or GED Vocational School orAssociatesdegree preferred

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working on equipment calibration and maintenance.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work in a team environment while taking direct ownership of projects/tasks.

• Balancing calibration and work order schedules against production needs.

• Strong technical aptitude with a desire for hands on engineering work.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to approach challenges in a methodical and detail-oriented manner

• Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel isrequired.

• Experience with SAP maintenance andGageTrakis a plus.

• Experience with gas handling manifolds and equipment is a plus.

• Experience with orbital welding is a plus.

• Experience with Ariba for purchase order generation is a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Ability to function well in a high-pacedand at timesstressful environment.
