The opportunity:

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 3000 skilled engineers who focus on tendering engineering planning procurement project Management functional system testing installation supervision documentation and commissioning.

Hitachi Energy uses a very high-end system for its control protection and monitoring. The system being continuously evolving becoming more complex and customized great deal of test & verification are required.

How youll make an impact:

• Preparation of Base Design documents like Protection block diagram Interlocks Diagram System overview diagram Bill of material Document Pre cable list Heat dissipation calculations.
• Preparation of Protection schematics for Feeder Transformer Busbar Bus Section Bus coupler capacitor bank Reactor.
• Preparation of design intent document analyzing scope of work technical guidelines and Customer specifications and applying in schematics.
• Preparation of IED configurations for various protection applications like Distance Differential Overcurrent auto reclose synchro check e.t.c
• Preparation of Test Procedures for IED testing and Cubicle testing for FAT and SAT activities.
• Preparation of Protection schematics for Feeder Transformer Busbar Bus Section Bus coupler capacitor bank Reactor.
• Preparation of Interface drawing by referring HV equipments Marshalling boxes CT VT and other station devices AC and DC Distribution boards e.t.c
• Should take responsibility and ownership for his work and have complete control over the project scope assigned to him.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background:

• 5-7 years experience within Electrical Engineering Industry.
• Expertise with handling Hitachi (REL670 RED670 RET670 RES670) GE MICOM SEL IEDs.
• Knowledge on Substations AIS/GIS Devices like Breakers Isolators Earth switches Transformers capacitors Reactors statcoms e.t.c
• Knowledge of Configuration tool like PCM Digsi Agile or any equivalent softwares
• Proficiency in required CAD design tools E-plan El-Master and E3 or any other equivalent Design tool.
• Individual contributor using in-depth knowledge in a specific area to execute complex or specialized projects / challenges often thinking independently to challenge traditional solutions.
• Works independently applying established standards.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
