Lead Nurse (Registered Nurse) 2223 per hour 36 Hours Day Shifts

This nursing home provides residential nursing dementia mental health and palliative care for adults within a well-established nursing home rated Good by the CQC. As the Lead Nurse you will have the day-to-day responsibility for a designated unit combining hands-on clinical practice with leadership of the nursing and care team.

What Youll Need

Registered Nurse (NMC)
Experience in a Senior Nurse or Unit Lead role within a nursing home
Strong clinical knowledge of long-term and complex conditions
Confidence with safeguarding CQC standards and clinical audits
Ability to lead staff calmly and effectively during busy shifts

Experience working across dementia mental health or palliative care settings

What Youll Do

Lead clinical care delivery across a designated unit
Provide visible hands-on leadership during shifts
Support the Home Manager with quality assurance audits and compliance
Supervise mentor and support nurses and care staff on the unit
Oversee medication management GP rounds and clinical decision-making
Complete CHC checklists and support DoLS/LPS processes
Ensure care plans and risk assessments remain accurate and up to date
