Business/Function Overview

Project Managers have accountability for working across functions Field and Corporate Commercial Teams. The Project Manager integrates the work of the project team drives towards decisions gains commitment to agreed actions and ensures accurate and timely deliverables from the teams. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the success of the commercial marketing programs.

Responsibilities

Key activities include:

  • Lead marketing teams through annual planning timeline program concepts and commercial launch of new marketing strategies.
  • Lead core teams to assure project and program deliverables meet technical timeline and financial results
  • Translate marketing targets into implementation plans by working closely with the core and extended teams; accountable for adhering to defined marketing process
  • Ensure timely updates to program milestones valuation and risks and work with various stakeholders in preparing scenario analysis
  • Assist in the development of and update 2 and 5-year plans for key AIs and products within the greater portfolio.
  • Plan and review annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Assemble all key decision-making information and assumptions
  • Organize and manage business cases in collaboration with the product managers to quantify the business need for new product concepts.
  • Identify and escalate critical issues that require immediate action
  • Convey to the marketing organization and other business functions an understanding of a projects market opportunity competitive landscape and business impact
  • Organize final reviews and manage collaboration opportunities between the sales and marketing teams.
  • Work closely with 3rd parties and other agencies to drive program collaboration efforts.
  • Manage marketing Teams and SharePoint sites to optimize document sharing and communication of implemented plans.
  • Organize and consistently maintain marketing program documents for ease of sharing and regular updating.
  • Manage platforms and stakeholder relationships for PrecisionPac and Precision Ag.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelors degree or higher in business or related field with at least 5 years of post-degree experience. PMP Certification or similar experience and experience in crop protection products and markets are all considered a plus.

  • Comfort working across multiple functional disciplines geographic regions cultures and interactions with executive leadership
  • Ability to work independently with enthusiasm to deliver on key milestones in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of key financial metrics and how to utilize them to set priorities and drive decision making
  • Ability to drive results with team through an influential and inclusive leadership approach
  • High degree of business acumen and complex problem-solving skills
  • Ability to exercise judgment with the ability to think creatively and strategically
