Part- Time Biology Teacher

As a Biology Teacher at Links Academy you will bring science to life through personalized one-on-one instruction that fosters curiosity and a deep understanding of the natural world. You will guide students in grades 612 through topics such as cellular biology genetics ecology and human anatomy while connecting scientific concepts to real-world applications. With small caseloads and a flexible supportive environment you will have the time and autonomy to create meaningful learning experiences that match each students pace and goals.

What Youll Need

• Bachelors degree in Biology Life Sciences or a related field; advanced degree preferred

• At least two years of experience teaching middle or high school Biology

• Teaching certification preferred but not required

• Strong communication organization and interpersonal skills

• Passion for inspiring students through hands-on inquiry-based instruction

What Youll Do

• Design and deliver individualized Biology instruction across multiple levels from general to advanced or AP courses

• Create labs projects and activities that make complex concepts engaging and accessible

• Integrate cross-disciplinary connections between biology chemistry and environmental science

• Track and document student progress using digital tools to guide instruction

• Communicate regularly with students families and administrators to ensure consistent academic support
