Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events and Sales Assistant to join our this dual-role position you will play a crucial part in the planning and execution of events while also supporting our sales team in achieving their targets. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and coordination of various events from concept to execution.
- Manage event logistics including venue selection catering equipment rentals and transportation.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure quality service.
- Support the sales team by managing client communications and follow-ups on leads.
- Track sales targets and metrics providing regular updates to the sales manager.
Skills
- Bachelors degree in Event Management Marketing Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in event planning or sales support is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and event management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needd for events.
