Key Responsibilities

The KS2 Teacher will:

  • Encourage pupil engagement in extracurricular activities school events and enrichment programs

  • Collaborate with colleagues support staff and leadership to ensure consistent standards and a cohesive teaching approach

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance achievement and progress and provide feedback to parents and leadership

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practice

  • Support school initiatives including literacy numeracy digital learning and wellbeing programs

  • Model high standards of professionalism punctuality and conduct in line with school policies


The Ideal Candidate

The school is seeking a KS2 Teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has experience teaching KS2 pupils ideally across Years 36

  • Is enthusiastic creative and committed to inspiring pupils

  • Can differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs including SEND and EAL

  • Uses effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive classroom culture

  • Is committed to fostering a love of learning and developing life-long skills

  • Is adaptable resilient and ready to start ASAP

Desirable experience:

  • Leading subjects or initiatives across KS2

  • Experience with digital learning platforms
