We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher who goes far beyond usability testing. This is a product discovery and product definition role focused on identifying new opportunities shaping product strategy and helping the company decide what to build next before we decide how to build it. You will play a key role in shaping AI-powered product experiences and value propositions.
What You Will Do
Lead product discovery and exploratory research in ambiguous strategic problem spaces including AI-driven and data-powered experiences
Identify new user needs jobs-to-be-done and opportunity areas that can become future products or major initiatives especially where AI can create step-change value
Frame problems not just validate solutions. Help define what is worth building
Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into - Clear product opportunities Problem frames Experience principles Strategic narratives and decision tools
Partner closely with Product Design and Engineering to shape product strategy and roadmap direction for AI-powered initiatives
Influence prioritization and investment decisions with strong user evidence and clear point of view
Run generative research field studies concept testing and rapid learning loops including testing AI concepts models and behaviors
Facilitate discovery workshops sensemaking sessions and strategic alignment rituals
Communicate insights in a way that helps leadership make bets under uncertainty especially in emerging AI-driven spaces
Balance rigor with speed in a fast-moving environment
What you Bring
6 years of experience in UX Research Product Discovery Strategic Design or similar roles
Proven experience working on 0-to-1 products new initiatives or major product bets
Hands-on experience working on AI-powered or data-driven products
Strong understanding of how AI systems impact user experience trust control and decision making
Strong ability to work in abstract problem spaces and turn messy signals into clear direction
Experience influencing product strategy and leadership decisions not just delivery teams
Excellent synthesis storytelling and facilitation skills
Comfort working without clear briefs fixed scopes or predefined solutions
Strong systems thinking mindset
Bonus
Experience with generative AI recommendations automation or intelligent decision support systems
Experience shaping new AI-enabled value propositions or new product lines
Background in service design ethnography or behavioral research
Experience in startup scaleup or innovation environments
