Job Summary

As a result merchants can improve their delivery speed reduce logistics costs and optimize product availability.
As a scale-up company with several offices across Europe we are always looking for talented team players who are eager to help us shape the future of e-commerce logistics; and this is where you come into play.
We are looking for a Working student (f/m/x) to join us part-time (20 hours per week) and support our Financial Operations team in Berlin Germany.
Tasks
You will support the Finance Operations team by:
- Assisting with daily accounting tasks including posting incoming and outgoing invoices for our five legal entities.
- Backing up the team in the compilation of relevant documentation for the annual Audit processes.
- Aiding in reconciling various accounts including bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Supporting the team in all tasks as it relates to month and year end closing processes
- Liaising with and supporting the Charging & Billing team throughout the invoicing cycle.
Requirements
- Pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Finance Accounting or Controlling
- Speaks reads and writes English & German fluently; other European languages will be an advantage
- Interests in and previous exposure to bookkeeping and accounting are desired and experience managing large datasets is valued in this role.
- The ideal candidate must have strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google applications. Ideally some exposure to MS Dynamics or another financial ERP or standard accounting software.
- A self-driven individual with a can-do attitude and you effectively communicate complex information.
- You are a quick learner analytical tech savvy detail-oriented and can spot and correct minor details.
- You easily absorb and process information from multiple sources and are able to multi-task or change focus as necessary
- You are meticulous and confident with data processing and take pride in the accuracy and timeliness of your work.
- You thrive in a fast-paced and challenging yet rewarding collegiate environment and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team
