Job Summary
CT Scan Technologist (Contract)
Location: Holmdel NJ
Duration: Contract
Hours: 36 hrs/week 12-hr shifts 3 days/week
Schedule:
Thu: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Fri: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Sat: 6:00 PM 7:00 AM
On-call: Sun 11:00 PM 7:00 AM (required)
Holidays: 1 required during assignment
Pay: $65 $70/hr (Local)
Role Summary
CT Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic CT procedures supporting interventional exams and ensuring high-quality imaging with strict patient safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform CT exams using established protocols
Prepare and administer contrast media; perform venipuncture
Review patient history and document in EPIC/PACS
Verify exam orders and coordinate with radiologists/physicians
Evaluate image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy
Monitor patients for adverse reactions
Upload and manage outside imaging studies
Comply with safety policy and on-call requirements
Physical ability to lift 25 lbs. push/pull 50 lbs. and stand for long periods
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Minimum 2 years CT experience
GE CT experience required (Revolution Frontier 64-slice preferred)
Strong anatomy positioning and PACS knowledge
Certifications & Licensure
NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
ARRT R.T.(R)
AHA BLS
ARRT (CT) required within 12 months
Preferred
ARRT R.T.(CT)
Epic / HIS / RIS experience
