Pay Rate: $80$82 per hour
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a short-term contract assignment in New York NY. This role is responsible for the daily operation of the Nuclear Medicine Laboratory delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring compliance with all safety regulatory and hospital standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures in accordance with established protocols
Educate patients and families on procedures ensuring comfort safety and understanding
Adhere to radiation safety infection control and quality assurance standards
Accurately document procedures patient data and imaging results
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support optimal patient care
Equipment
Siemens Biograph Vision PET/CT
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB Certification (required)
Post-secondary certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
New York State Radiologic Technologist License
BCLS Certification (required)
Education
Associate Degree required
Bachelors Degree preferred
