Job Summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our clients logistics challenges.

Contract Logistics is responsible for the strategic development retention and profitable growth of assigned key accounts or a portfolio of clients within Contract Logistics.

The role requires strong capability in managing complex internal and external stakeholder networks across multiple locations countries and functional disciplines.

The successful candidate will act as a senior client-facing leader influencing decision-makers at multiple levels anticipating changing business needs and driving both tactical execution and long-term strategic value. Core responsibilities include end-to-end account governance operational alignment financial performance management and the identification and execution of growth opportunities across the account portfolio.

Essential Job Functions

  • Serve as the primary senior client-facing owner of the overall commercial and operational relationship for assigned Contract Logistics accounts.
  • Lead account mapping and organisational alignment activities ensuring effective coordination and collaboration across regional global and functional teams.
  • Plan prepare and chair Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) ensuring delivery of high-quality insights accurate and meaningful data and clearly defined actionable outcomes.
  • Ensure all supporting offices and operational teams fully understand and execute against agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) contractual commitments and service expectations.
  • Own the creation governance monitoring and distribution of account reporting maintaining accountability for accuracy timeliness consistency and relevance.
  • Drive account performance management including KPI tracking service-level compliance root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain strong market customer and industry awareness including competitor activity emerging logistics trends and evolving client requirements.
  • Actively promote internal collaboration and best practice sharing across key areas including:
    1. Client and operational reviews
    2. Strategic business planning
    3. Value-added programs
    4. Process improvement initiatives
    5. Tender and contract management
    6. Technology and digital solutions
    • Conduct impact coverage and network analysis to identify service gaps operational risks and commercial growth opportunities.
    • Build and deepen relationships beyond primary contacts by engaging with and influencing a broad range of stakeholders across the client organisation.
    • Manage rate integrity and yield analysis reviewing commercial performance on a monthly basis and implementing corrective actions where required.
    • Monitor overall account financial health including revenue margin billing accuracy and payment performance support collections activities for overdue invoices where necessary.
    • Ensure all client interactions meetings actions complaints and compliments are accurately recorded in the CRM system and effectively communicated to relevant internal stakeholders.
    • Travel regularly within the region to visit customer sites and company locations to review operations ensure procedural compliance and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure full compliance with company policies governance standards contractual obligations and applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Identify new or expanded business opportunities and develop clear structured strategies to secure growth leveraging appropriate internal resources and subject-matter expertise.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive business development plan with short- and long-term objectives defined initiatives timelines and quantified value contribution.
    • Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the seniority and scope of the role.
