Join Our Team as a General Operator - Forklift

Due to continued growth we are recruiting multiple General Operators with Forklift experience to support manufacturing and logistics activities within our Letterkenny facility.

Reporting to Production Supervisors these hands-on roles involve general operator duties combined with forklift operation to support material movement production flow and safe working practices in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate forklift trucks safely and in accordance with site procedures.
• Support material movement to and from production areas.
• Carry out general operator duties in support of manufacturing activities.
• Use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Carry out self-checks and complete required manufacturing documentation.
• Identify and report defective or substandard components.
• Maintain a clean safe and organised working environment.
• Adhere to all Quality Health & Safety and Company procedures.
• Support team members and work collaboratively to meet production deadlines.
• Work overtime shift work or attend site activities as required.

Essential Skills Qualifications/Experience:

• Valid forklift licence.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to follow instructions and work to standard operating procedures
• Strong attention to safety quality and detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Desirable Skills Qualifications/Experience:

• Experience in electrical switchgear manufacture or similar environment
• Experience in a general operator production or manufacturing role
