Salesforce Developer, GREF Tech

The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Tech team part of Finance Automation develops services products and tools to enable Amazons corporate real estate team to build and operate the companys global facilities in more than 60 countries which is the largest corporate real estate footprint in the world. We develop building systems that deliver a seamless adaptive and creative workspace experience to more than half a million employees. Our mission is to create technology that simplifies the processes Amazon employs to manage its corporate real estate. Our teams build services and products that support various GREF domains including space and occupancy planning design and construction employee health and safety sustainability and building management systems requiring IoT expertise. Key job responsibilities
- Oversee the configuration and coding of new and existing Salesforce features including user management security custom objects page layouts validations workflows flows process builders and third-party applications.
- Develop solutions in utilizing Web Services and APIs.
- Support system integrations across the native Salesforce ecosystem backend services and AWS technologies.
- Collaborate with product managers and program teams to deliver customized solutions that meet business requirements enhance user experience and generate tangible business value.
- Engage in planning and analyzing requirements for system enhancements translating them into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform and products effectively.
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce innovatively to improve existing business processes support rapid organizational scaling and provide expertise on when to use configuration vs. code vs. out-of-the-box products.
- Handle Salesforce support requests and address escalated user needs by providing timely and comprehensive resolution to technical challenges and business support issues.

- Experience in automating deploying and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python Ruby Golang Java C C# Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix

- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- 4 years of designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking storage operating systems)
