Who We Are Looking For

TheBusinessDevelopmentInternwill be part of Clearways West BusinessDevelopmentTeam.TheBusinessDevelopmentTeamisresponsible forgrowingClearwaysutility-scalebusinessthrough acquisitions and greenfield development strategies.The intern willassistthe Business Development team in the valuation due diligence and execution of investment opportunitiesofrenewable energy projects. The individual in this highly collaborative position will work with seasoned industry experts both on thebusiness developmentteam andwith other teamsacross the addition to M&A activities the intern will contribute to the ongoing commercializationof utility-scale solar storage and wind assets in our development pipeline.Finally theintern willalso be assignedaspecial project to help advance in-depth market analysis and broader growth strategiesthat will be presentedat the end of the internship.

This position is part of the 10-week Summer Internship Program at Clearway Energy Group beginningonJune12026.

What Youll Be Doing

TheBusinessDevelopmentInternsprimary responsibilities will include:

• Become familiar with and conduct analyses in Clearways renewable energy financial modeling environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on due diligence and refining project financial model inputs.
• Perform ad-hoc quantitative analyses to supportongoingorigination development and financing activities for projects.
• Assistin the preparation of detailed memos and presentations for senior management and investment committees.
• Support cross-functional teams in preparationofRFP submittals and ongoing PPA negotiations.
• Create and manage tools tomonitormarket activity and track internal originationstrategytoidentifynew growth areas and M&A targets.
• Support initiatives to improve the set of datasets tools and business activities at Clearway.
• Complete a special project and present that project to the teamand leadershipat the end of the internship.

What Youll Bring

Core Knowledge and Skills

• Interest and fundamental knowledge in renewable energy cleantech power markets or infrastructure finance.
• Knowledge of the energy industry including regulated and de-regulated electricity markets and project financing structures and key value drivers.
• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suitewith advancedMicrosoft Excelskills.
• Ability to work well in a collaborativeenvironment thatemphasizes attention to detail meeting deadlines and working together to achieve company-wideobjectives.
• Intellectual curiosity and an interest in renewable because you believeinand want to help create a clean energy future.

What Would Be Nice

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure torenewable energy includingthe project development cycle.
• Experience with Project Finance Models.
• Some knowledge of governmental mandates environmental regulationsor customer/market signals thatimpactorfacilitatenew development of renewable projects in major markets (CAISO WECC ERCOT MISO SPP PJM NYISO ISO-NE).
