What you will do
- Define and execute enterprise master data governance strategies that improve data accuracy consistency and usability across regions and systems.
- Implement and sustain a master data governance framework including policies standards procedures and controls for sensitive data with measurable improvements in data quality metrics.
- Oversee delivery of master data governance and data quality programs for assigned regions meeting agreed milestones timelines and outcomes.
- Lead and develop master data governance and stewardship teams by setting goals balancing workloads sharing best practices and supporting professional development.
- Establish and monitor data quality rules metrics and remediation plans in partnership with data management teams to reduce defects and prevent recurrence.
- Drive harmonization of endtoend master data processes across divisions and geographies including enterprise and local system owners.
- Partner closely with global system implementation and business process teams to embed data standards into projects integrations and operational processes.
- Influence and align global stakeholders by educating teams on data standards building consensus and enabling decisions that support consistent enterprise data practices.
What you will need
Required
- Bachelors degree (minimum) in Business Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data governance master data management or a related corporate data function.
- Minimum 4 years of experience leading people or matrixed teams.
- Minimum 4 years of experience designing or implementing master data governance frameworks policies or standards.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred
- Masters degree in Business Information Systems or a related field.
- Professional certification in data management or data governance (for example: CDMP CIMP or IQCP).
- Experience supporting enterprise system implementations including data mapping cleansing or migration activities.
