Senior Manager, Business Data Governance

What you will do

• Define and execute enterprise master data governance strategies that improve data accuracy consistency and usability across regions and systems.
• Implement and sustain a master data governance framework including policies standards procedures and controls for sensitive data with measurable improvements in data quality metrics.
• Oversee delivery of master data governance and data quality programs for assigned regions meeting agreed milestones timelines and outcomes.
• Lead and develop master data governance and stewardship teams by setting goals balancing workloads sharing best practices and supporting professional development.
• Establish and monitor data quality rules metrics and remediation plans in partnership with data management teams to reduce defects and prevent recurrence.
• Drive harmonization of endtoend master data processes across divisions and geographies including enterprise and local system owners.
• Partner closely with global system implementation and business process teams to embed data standards into projects integrations and operational processes.
• Influence and align global stakeholders by educating teams on data standards building consensus and enabling decisions that support consistent enterprise data practices.

What you will need

Required

• Bachelors degree (minimum) in Business Information Systems or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data governance master data management or a related corporate data function.
• Minimum 4 years of experience leading people or matrixed teams.
• Minimum 4 years of experience designing or implementing master data governance frameworks policies or standards.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Preferred

• Masters degree in Business Information Systems or a related field.
• Professional certification in data management or data governance (for example: CDMP CIMP or IQCP).
• Experience supporting enterprise system implementations including data mapping cleansing or migration activities.
