Job Description:
HMD Trucking Inc. is looking for a Safety Assistant who wants to contribute to a successful team that embraces innovation and be part of an industry leading organization that consistently sets new standards.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Log Audit: Record review of hours for accuracy and completeness (Log checks with registered data such as GPS BOL Fuel Inspections etc.)
- Responding to the calls regarding the Log Issues
- Permits
- Responding to the Accident calls
- Guiding the driver through all the necessary steps
- Collecting all the data
- Creating the accident report
- Getting the accident videos from Netradyne
- Locating the DOT certified clinic and sending the driver for post-accident drug and alcohol test if required
- Coaching the Drivers for HOS
Experience and desired skills:
- Proficient in spoken and written ENGLISH (must)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work effectively both as a Team member and independently
- Ability to follow instructions and deliver quality results
- Past work experience that is relevant is a plus
