Security Control Assessor (SCA) Level 3

PositionOverview:
System HighrequiresSCAstoprovide Information Security Assessment and Authorization (A&A)supportthroughoutaprogramslifecycle to bothContractorandGovernmentsystems.

Duties & Responsibilities (but not limited to)

• FamiliaritywithInformation Assurance (IA)conceptsandpossessmoderate Information Security (IS) skills and knowledge

• Abilitytoreviewandrecommendvulnerabilityandrisklevelsassociated withsoftware (SW) and hardware (HW)products

• PracticalexperienceperformingInformation System (IS)A&AasdefinedinapplicableIntelligence Community Directives (ICD)andguidance

• PracticalexperiencedevelopingandimplementingsecurityrelateddirectivesandguidanceforInformation Technology (IT) Information Assurance (IA) and Information Management (IM)

• PracticalexperienceutilizingriskmanagementstrategiesforITsolutions

• Understanding of emergingtechnologies andtheirimplementationwithinGovernmentsystemandnetworkenvironments

• Knowledgeof ITconceptsusedintheevaluationofsecurityperformanceandintegrityofstate-ofthe-artapplicationscommunicationssystemsHWSWsatellitecontrolsystemsandinformationprocessingsystems

• UnderstandingofITsystemsSWandnetworks

• Practicalexperience assessingsecurity of cloud-basedsystemsincludinginfrastructureasaservice (IaaS)platform asa service (PaaS)and/or softwareasaservice (SaaS) deployment

• Abilityto effectively coordinateA&AactivitiesofindustryandGovernment ISstomeetacquisitionmilestone requirements

• Ability towriteeffectivetechnicalreportsandgeneralcorrespondence

• AbilitytomanageandtracksystemsorprogramsinvolvedintheA&Aprocess

• Experience developing and implementing security related directives and guidance for IT IA and IM

• Experience workingwithamixedskilllevelteamtoensurethatappropriate knowledgeandskilltransferoccurs

Clearance

• TS/SCIwithCI Polygraph isrequired.

Years of Experience/Education Requirements

• Bachelors degreefive(5) years of of experiencecan offset education level. Highschoolor GED seven(7) yearsMastersor higher three(3) years

• Educationrelevantto computerengineeringINFOSEC cybersecurityinformationmanagement and/or computer science.

• Experienceintechnicalprojectmanagement.

Certifications

• IAM Level2certificationrequired.
