Summary:TheAssistant Administrator supports the Administrator in the overall leadership operations and regulatory compliance of provides clinical oversight and operational support for resident care servicesteam membercoordination and daily community functions forthe 30 licensed Assistant Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality resident outcomes compliance with state and federal regulations and a positive living environment by integrating nursingexpertisewith operational the absence of the Administrator this role may assume delegated leadership responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

Graduate of accredited Nursing Program

Actively registered with the North Carolina Board of Nursing (or compact state) and in good standing

Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain within30 daysof hire)

PreferredQualifications

AssociatesDegree in Nursing

Minimum of one year of progressive nursing leadership experience in long-term care assisted living or a related healthcare setting

KnowledgeSkillsand Abilities

Knowledgeof assisted living regulations resident care standards and nursing practice

Strong understanding of resident assessments care planning and service coordination

Ability to provide clinical oversight and guidance to careteam

Demonstratedleadership organization and problem-solving skills

Effective verbal and written communication with residents familiesteam members regulators physicians physician officespharmacies home health personnel and agencies.

Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic residential care environment

Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate resident-centered approach

Ability tomaintainconfidentiality and professional boundaries

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises team membersinthealldepartmentswhen on-call or in the absence of the Administrator.

Essential Functions

Leadership & Community Operations

Assist the Administrator in overseeing daily operations of the Assisted Living community.

Serve as the Administrators designee as assigned supporting continuity of leadership.

Promote a culture of respect accountability and resident-centered care.

Collaborate with department leaders to ensure coordinated service delivery.

During times of inclement weather be present at the community toassistwith resident care.

Resident Care & Clinical Oversight

Provide nursing oversight for resident care servicesin accordance withscope of licensure.

Participatein resident assessments care planning and service plan updates.

Monitorresident health status and coordinate with providers pharmacies and external services.

Support medication management practices in compliance with regulations and policy.

Respond to resident concerns incidents and clinical issues promptly and appropriately.

Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance

Support compliance with all local state and federal regulations governing assisted living.

Assistwith surveys inspections audits and corrective action planning.

Ensure resident rights safety and dignity aremaintainedat all times.

Monitorinfection control safety and risk management practices.

Team MemberSupport & Supervision

Provide guidance coaching and clinical direction to careteam members.

Support staffing coordination scheduling and coverage as needed.

Assistwith onboarding training and competency validation for careteam members.

Participatein performance feedback and disciplinary processes as delegated.

Communication & Collaboration

Maintainopen communication with residents and families to address needs and concerns.

Partner with the Administrator to ensuretimelyand transparent communication.

Document and report incidents concerns and operational updates appropriately.

Compliance & Professional Accountability

Comply withall company policies procedures and applicable laws including HIPAA and the Code of Conduct completing required training and reporting concerns promptly.

Maintaincurrent license and required certifications.

Perform otherduties asassigned to support community operations.
