Hiring Telecom Field Coordinator in Qatar

Support the routine operations and projects related to Information Systems Telecom and Network including Local Area Network Wireless Network Wide Area Network and VOIP Telephony System Access Control System CCTV Systems Radio Systems and other Telecommunication and Networking systems. Qualifications: Educational Qualification Required: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Preferably in Electronics /Telecommunication /Network /Computer Science. Certifications Required: Certification in Networking (CCNA) required. Certification/Training in Telecommunication systems preferred.

Work Experience Required:

At least 5 years’ experience in Network & Telecom domain preferably in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industrials must have experience with Network (Wired & Wireless) VoIP CCTV Access control and Radio systems. Undergone training and/or have HSE certifications from the Oil and Gas sector for those trainings.

The candidate must have experience in at least two of the following attributes.

Experience in Cisco & Avaya IP Telephony systems.
Experience with LAN WAN and Wireless Networking.
Experience with IP CCTV Solutions including Milestone VMS and all types of IP Cameras.
Experience with Access Control System Attendance Systems etc.
Experience with Tetra DMR Radio System.

Other Attributes:

Excellent communication skills.
Willing to travel and work in all site locations as per requirement.
Demonstrate flexibility to work outside normal business hours including weekends and public holidays as required to support IT operations (e.g. migrations upgrades maintenance activities) with prior communication and direction from the Head of Section.
Must be customer oriented and should have hands on experience of supporting business users for various IT Network & Telecommunication services and applications.
Experience in working on IT helpdesk ticketing solution.
Preferred to have Valid Qatar driving License.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry on day-to-day activities related to Telecom and network systems with Client

• Ability to do the preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for both the main equipment and the field equipment’s.

• Ability to do installation for telecom and networking devices in safe and classified areas.
• Configuration and Troubleshooting of Telecom and Network devices including CCTV Cameras Video Management Solutions Access Control Systems Radio Systems LAN and WAN systems IP Telephony Systems and wireless network etc.

• Able to understand and modify system operation and maintenance manuals and other engineering documentation related to Telecom and Networking Systems.

• Able to repair / replace faulty OR damaged equipment.
• Coordination between vendors manufacturers and internal departments.
• Responsible for maintaining the infrastructure systems as per standards.

• Work on and deliver special projects within and other departments and related works as and when required.

• Installation Configuration and Maintenance of Voice and Data systems.

• Installation Configuration and Maintenance of Copper and Fiber cabling solutions. Assists in daily operation of IT Telecom tasks which includes but is not limited to resolving service requests through hands-on work on Access Control System Networking and Telecommunication systems and all other associated computer/networking peripherals and software.

• Respond and resolve on allocated IS Helpdesk Service Request tickets.

• Provide first line support to end-users on the issues quickly.

• Respond to and deal with technical queries.

• Stay updated with latest system information changes and updates.
