Job Description Assistant Manager HRBP (Bonds)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage pilot training bonds and related contractual obligations. This role ensures compliance effective recovery processes and smooth coordination across HR Finance Training and Legal teams. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

1.Pilot Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee onboarding induction and integration of new pilots.
  • Manage career progression upgrades and transitions in coordination with Training and Fleet HR.
  • Support exit processes ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and smooth transitions.

2. Bond Administration

  • Maintain and monitor all pilot training bonds service agreements and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure timely issuance of new bonds for training upgrades and transitions.
  • Track bond validity tenure and completion dates.

3. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all documents are signed stored and updated as per regulatory and company policies.
  • Maintain an accurate digital and physical database of all active and closed bonds.
  • Coordinate with the Legal team for updates amendments and clarifications.

4. Recovery & Settlements

  • Calculate recoverable amounts for resignations early exits and incomplete service periods.
  • Coordinate with Finance for invoicing recoveries and final settlements.
  • Follow up and ensure closure of pending payments in a timely manner.

5. Pilot Coordination

  • Communicate bond details terms and obligations clearly to pilots.
  • Address pilot queries related to bonds tenure payments and obligations.
  • Provide timely status updates to Fleet HR and management.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Training to verify training completion and associated costs.
  • Coordinate with HRBP and Fleet Office for movements upgrades and exits.
  • Align with Finance for reconciliation refunds and audit requirements.

7. Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare monthly dashboards on active bonds recoveries and upcoming expiries.
  • Highlight risk cases high-value exits and compliance gaps.

8. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Act as the primary HR contact for pilots addressing queries grievances and concerns.
  • Drive engagement initiatives to enhance pilot satisfaction and retention.
  • Facilitate communication between pilots and management to ensure transparency and trust.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Prior experience in aviation HR payroll or contract management preferred
  • 45 years of relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Good understanding of HR and financial processes
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation
  • Structured and process-driven approach


Good to Have:

  • Prior experience in aviation HR payroll or contract management preferred


Educational Qualifications:

Postgraduate/MBA in Legal HR or related field
