Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead production teams on the assembly line and machine row including scheduling task delegation and performance management.
Ensure compliance with all safety quality and operational standards.
Develop maintain and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity reduce waste and maintain high-quality standards.
Train mentor and develop team members including leads and temporary staff.
Coordinate production priorities monitor workflow and ensure on-time completion of customer orders.
Promote clear and effective communication across multiple departments.
Report production metrics and operational issues to management.
Assist with staffing needs including hiring onboarding and workforce planning for additional equipment.
Forklift Operations

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment including supervisory experience.
Strong leadership communication and team development skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of production processes safety standards and quality control procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree preferred.

Physical Demands:

Standing: Up to 2/3 of the shift
Walking: Up to 1/3 of the shift
Must be able to frequently lift to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift to 50 lbs.
Must be able to assist with team lifting of loads exceeding 50 lbs. occasionally.
Must be able to stand for the entire length of the shift (up to 10 hours).
Must be able to work in and around manufacturing and production equipment.
Frequent climbing of ladders bending stooping standing walking twisting kneeling and reaching.
Must be able to see and hear and acknowledge critical safety instructions alarms forklift traffic and perform quality and equipment inspections.
Must be able to sustain repetitive movement of both upper and lower extremities with varying degrees of force.
Must be able to push and pull up to 100 lbs. of force regularly including moving pallets carts glass/plastic sheets and boxes using a hand truck or similar equipment.
