Mechanical Completions Inspector - Ingleside TX
Intertek a Nationally Recognized Testing Lab (NRTL) and leading provider of quality and safety solutions to many of the worlds leading brands and companies is actively seeking a Mechanical Completions Inspector to join our Technical Inspection Services team in Ingleside TX. The Mechanical Completions Inspector is responsible for ensuring that the Project Quality Plan in conjunction with Project Execution Plan is developed and implemented. This role will promote quality awareness throughout the organization emphasizing excellence continuous improvement and corrective action to influence the overall success of company business. Shift/Schedule: Regular Full Time position working at least 50 hours per week.
Job Title: Mechanical Completions Inspector
Location: Ingleside TX
What youll do:
Follow processes and procedures for system completions walkdown
Able to walkdown completion packages and verify compliance with specifications and project documentation
Able to participate in virtual systems completion walkdowns with client completions team through the use of Microsoft Teams and the utilization of virtual systems hardware
All other duties assigned
This position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.
Physical Requirements for this role:
Must be able to walk long distances
Must be able to climb stoop kneel crouch and crawl
Must be able to stand for extended durations
Must be able to reach in all directions
Must have good visual acuity with regards to color depth perception and field vision
Must be able to work in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold temperatures
Must be alert and able to determine job related hazards and recognize when hazards change
Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Preferably holds current certification in Swagelok and Parker tubing fitting installation (Will accept expired certification depending on experience

Qualifications:
5 years completions package experience
Able to work and communicate in a team environment
Able to lift 50 pounds
Able to climb kneel and squat occasionally
Must be able to read plans and specifications
Prior plant experience LNG plant preferred
