Role Descriptions:
Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Playwright Automation Tester to join our engineering team.
You will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining a robust automation framework that ensures the high quality of our web applications.
Your goal will be to move us toward a Continuous Testing model by integrating automated suites into our CICD pipelines and reducing manual regression overhead.
Key Responsibilities Framework Development Build enhance and maintain an end-to-end automation framework using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript.
Test Scripting Design and execute high-quality test scripts for functional regression integration and E2E scenarios.
CICD Integration Integrate automated test suites into DevOps pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions GitLab CI or Jenkins) to enable automated gated check-ins.
API Testing Develop automated tests for RESTful APIs to ensure data integrity and backend reliability.
Cross-Browser Validation Leverage Playwrights capabilities to ensure seamless application performance across Chromium Firefox and WebKit. Defect Management Identify document and track software defects using JIRA. Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve flaky tests.
Code Reviews Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards for test code maintainability and scalability.
