We are searching for a talent for a Technical Product Owner - Make Visual Factory who will own the technology product product vision and product roadmap. This role involves managing individual contributors and vendors developing tactical and operational plans to support organizational objectives and business goals. The Technical Product Owner will develop roadmaps aligning with strategic technology programs and business needs.
You will be responsible for
Responsible for vision roadmap and priorities of enhancements to a product (applications) platforms or solutions in partnership with Business Process Owner.
Accountable for current product line quality-performance and communication of production issues to BPOs and business stakeholders
Responsible for Cost-to-Deliver Product E2E Lifecycle and Total Cost of Ownership
Results delivery through a direct and indirect cross-functional team of 4-6 internal and contract staff; management of vendors; and management of costs
Helps carve out the product vision
Collaborates with cross-functional team to define product requirements
Prioritizes product demand & backlog understands economic models to manage prioritization and applies systems thinking
Generates key user insights
Develops hypothesis on solutions
Drives product line vision and ensures development and maintenance of a multi-generation product strategy
Supports definition of success criteria for products
Creates and owns product roadmap including collaboration with local site-based product owners to rationalize and standardize the product line
Collaborates with TS Vendors Site IT Architecture teams in defining future product deployment strategies aligned with future state Historian architecture and strategy
Drives the team and ensures that all are working towards a common goal ultimately delivering value
Sprint Planning: Elaborates on stories
Sprint Review: Approves new stories and adds regular feedback includes business/stakeholders in product reviews to gain direct feedback
Understands and defines (or helps define) scope for MVP
Defines acceptance criteria
Actively participates on Scrum rites
Participates in retrospectives
Monitors sprint metrics release metrics and usability test results
Prioritizes functionality for release
Manages project (oversight) scope and issue resolution.
Partner with project manager scrum master business process owner to drive alignment on goals and objectives.
Working closely with all stakeholders including our TS partners to ensure that deployed solutions are efficient effective and support the business process goals and objectives across the enterprise.
Ensures completion of process and system documentation.
Ensures communication of progress and status.
Continuously thinks of the product
Ensures adoption: Ensures that the next iteration is what the users need
Monitors usage: Keeps a close eye on usage and determines next steps
Conducts surveys and feedback sessions to remain close to users
Monitors performance: Works with partners to ensure availability and performance requirements are understood and drives the team to identify issues and solutions.
Connect with industry organizations and vendors: To stay current on developments and challenges of potential solutions and architectures.
Product budgets from financing to implementation.
Develops insights for site leadership. Contributes to technology projects programs and processes. Creates reports visualizations or other documents. Presents findings and provides updates on status to team and management.
Required qualifications
Bachelors degree
A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
Experience in leading and managing vendors
Experience in a (pharmaceutical) manufacturing environment
Substantial skills in relevant technologies (Digital and Innovation)
Adept in ISA-95 model
Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach.
Adept in financial management
Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies (SDLC)
Experience working in projects utilizing Agile methodology
Experience managing product backlog preferably using JIRA
Experience with Project Management Software Testing Implementation and Change Management
Experience working within a regulated (GxP) environment
Knowledge in Supply Chain processes including processes associated with manufacturing for Pharmaceutical
Track record of program delivery of Supply Chain projects technical management and governance of complex regional and global initiatives across multiple sites and/or regions.
Experience managing global multi-location teams
Experience in managing vendor partners in development delivery and support of complex technical systems across a multi-site network
Ability to influence vendors and stakeholders through good communication and negotiation at multiple levels within the organization
Supervisory/People Management experience
Ability to lead and negotiate financial and budget discussions as it pertains to the Historian application platform delivery and strategy
Understanding of OT systems and OT integrations
Knowledge and experience with Visual Factory systems (Shift Connector or similar products) include business processes deployment architecture and interfaces.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in data platforms and solutions (Azure Data Lake GraphDB)
Experience in integrations technologies (MQTT Brokers Kafka or similar)
Experience in AI/ML Model Mgmt Data Science Prompt Engineering MLOps is a big plus
Experience with manufacturing-related systems (e.g. MES PAS-X ERP LIMS) and ecosystem integration.
Familiarity with Enterprise Quality-related systems
Experience handling Cybersecurity by design
