About the Role
As the Program Support Officer you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of HOPEs programs across the Pilbara/Kimberley region.
Based in Karratha this role provides high-quality administrative reception and coordination support to program teams enabling frontline staff to focus on delivering effective services to the community. Youll work closely with the PCADS Manager Business Support Coordinator program staff clients and external stakeholders to keep services running efficiently professionally and in line with HOPEs policies and values.
This role is ideal for an organised proactive administrator who enjoys supporting teams building positive relationships and contributing to meaningful community outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Providing administrative reception and program support services across the region
- Managing client records correspondence mail and receipting processes
- Preparing agendas and taking/distributing minutes for meetings as required
- Coordinating meetings support groups and internal and external events including venues and catering
- Ordering and maintaining program supplies and office resources
- Supporting general maintenance requirements in collaboration with the Business Support Coordinator
- Providing basic ICT support including printers phones copiers and security systems
- Delivering high-level customer service to staff clients visitors and stakeholders
- Supporting referrals and intake processes for PCADS clients
- Maintaining accurate records in line with privacy confidentiality and document control requirements
- Supporting data management reporting and program-specific initiatives
- Be a representative for our internal work health and safety committee

- $38.65 per hour $10.12 per hour regional allowance super

Youll Need
- At least two years experience in a similar administrative or office coordination role ideally within a community services setting
- Demonstrated competence in administration and office coordination
- Experience working in culturally appropriate and respectful ways
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Sound computer and administrative skills
- Willingness and ability to undertake some manual handling and physical tasks
- Flexibility to work outside normal hours occasionally (by prior agreement)
- Willingness to join the internal work health safety committee
Essential Pre-Employment Requirements
- Current C or A Class Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
- First Aid Certificate
