Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Nocturnist

Position Summary / Career Interest:

Responsible for administering and monitoring anesthesia to patients during surgical and/or obstetrical procedures.

The University of Kansas Health System Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a Nocturnist CRNA. Both newly trained and experienced CRNAs are welcome to apply. Enjoy a friendly and collaborative culture with mentorship for new graduates and a positive work environment.

The CRNA Nocturnist at our Level I Trauma Center works three (3) consecutive 12 hour shifts each week. The shifts are back-to-back and rotate between Sun/Mon/Tues and Wed/Thur/Fri with opportunities to pick up extra shifts if wanted. No weekend call requirements outside of holiday coverage with large group. Nocturnist position pays an additional $45000 stipend on top of base compensation plus a $20000 sign-on bonus.

Successful completion of nursing anesthesia program certification and eligibility for licensure in the State of Kansas are required.
