What youll do as a Sourcing Analyst:

  • Under direction of the Sourcing Supervisor solicit & evaluate proposals make recommendations & monitor supplier performance for a range of routine established customary requirements.

  • Process agency purchase requisitions & ensure Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) & Encouraging Diversity Growth & Equity (EDGE) vendor utilization.

  • Review & analyze contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws rules &/or regulations & negotiate changes (e.g. confer with other agencies vendors manufacturers &/or distributors on delivery prices quantity & services; ensure purchasing practices are in accordance with ODPS purchasing procedures).

  • Prepare specifications for development of contracts for goods & personal service acquisitions (e.g. coordinate the purchasing of supplies materials equipment &/or services for ODPS; research quotes & prepare cost analysis; review contractual language & evaluate bids received & recommend awards).

  • Provide technical assistance to other agencies & ODPS divisions with contract negotiations & compliance with state & federal laws & regulations (e.g. coordinate special acquisitions projects to procure supplies materials equipment &/or services; enforce section policies & procedures; provide interpretation of state & federal laws).
