The Position

As a core member of the Marketing Strategy & Innovation (MSI) Chapter you will drive commercial excellence by architecting exceptional customer experiences and accelerating product commercialization. You are responsible for identifying market opportunities driving in-field effectiveness (IFE) and mobilizing cross-functional resourcesincluding local Squads commercial excellence function and the APAC networkto achieve impactful business outcomes. This role combines strategic foresight with operational agility overseeing performance analytics portfolio management business planning & digital strategies. By embracing a growth mindset and a networked way of working you will lead digital transformation initiatives and manage distribution models to enhance the overall customer experience and advance Roches vision.

Harnessing data into insights for both Roche and stakeholders and being the expert in integrating the omnichannel approach to provide the right contents through the best channels and timely to drive exceptional commercial results and optimal customer engagement.

Role Overview

This role is primarily accountable for managing and accelerating the commercialization of products in his/her assigned portfolio by identifying gaps and opportunities in a timely manner by mobilizing relevant areas of the organization (including the local disease area team (Squad) and the APAC disease area network (DAN) to help achieve business outcomes.

Major Accountabilities

Have a strong understanding of the local market dynamics in order to provide timely commercial insights based on performance/market analysis by channel brand and other business critical channels

Develop localized business scenarios and strategic action plans by leveraging insights from APAC and global teams ensuring seamless local execution through a customer-centric lens

Foster key stakeholder relationships in collaboration with the local Primary Point of Contact (PPOC) to gain clear market insights and ensure open dialogue and engagement with key internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve business outcomes

Develop and implement local pricing strategies in collaboration with Patient Access & Public Affairs (PAPA) Team

Develop and implement local forecast model for assigned portfolio including analysis of customer demand trends for optimal inventory management

Manage customer service / distribution model including remove roadblocks addressing escalated customer requests and collaborating with supply chain team and distributor in order to address imminent customer needs as well as proactively improve overall customer experience

Self-management and self-direction is critical to success

Experience & Qualifications

5 years of commercial business analytics and/or finance experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset

Experience with product portfolio forecast strategic & execution planning

Excellent commercial acumen strategic thinking and broad understanding of Roches present portfolio

Detail-minded with strong analytical skills and ability to manage a high level of complexity

Experience with agile ways of working is an asset

Excellent communication (for internal and external) and networking skills

Fluent in both English and Cantonese is mandatory

University degree in finance business or marketing is preferred

Experience in oncology is preferred but not a must
