**Core Responsibilities:**
- Execute the complete spectrum of pharmaceutical procedures with proficiency.
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services leveraging the facilitys personnel supply chain and equipment resources effectively.
- Counsel patients on the optimal use of prescribed medications to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
- Conduct detailed reviews of patient profiles during the dispensing process ensuring vigilant monitoring of medication therapies.
- Confirm the appropriateness of prescription instructions dosage medication interactions therapeutic duplications allergy information age-specific dosing and other critical data for each patient. Intervene with healthcare providers when discrepancies are detected in the aforementioned items.
- Compounding of medications as necessary.
- Oversee the accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by technical staff ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Supervise inventory management of all pharmaceuticals with a heightened focus on controlled substances ensuring pharmacy security and adhering to regulatory requirements for records maintenance and security of scheduled controlled substances.
**Work Schedule:**
- Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM inclusive of a lunch break.- No weekend or holiday shifts; no on-call responsibilities or callbacks.
**Minimum Qualifications:**-
**Education:** Bachelors degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.-
**Experience:** A minimum of one year of clinical pharmacy experience.-
**License:** Possession of an active unrestricted pharmacist license.-
**Life Support Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.-
**Security Clearance:** Ability to successfully pass a government background check and obtain a government security clearance.
