CK Group are recruiting for a Quality Technician to join an animal health company on a contract basis for 11 months. This role is site based in Newport Wales.
Salary: From 12.21 ph to 16.77 ph depending upon experience
Quality Technician Role:- Support laboratory operations specimen processing and quality assurance
- Analysis of test specimens
- Safely lift and transfer laboratory samples and equipment
- Log and scan samples into proprietary applications/databases
- Receive and catalogue supplies including reagents and chemicals
Your Background:
- Hold a degree in Life Science or a relevant field or have equivalent working experience
- Strong pipetting skills and experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards
- Experience and comfort level working with chemicals in a lab setting.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
