A global leader in the food ingredients sector is seeking a high-energy Sales Executive to spearhead business growth across Northern Malaysia. You will be responsible for driving direct sales managing high-value accounts and expanding the companys market footprint within the bakery food service and small-to-medium industrial sectors.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Proactively visit and prospect new customers within the bakery ingredient shop coffee shop and food service channels.
Portfolio Growth: Strategically introduce and develop the companys full product portfolio in the region focusing on increasing SKU penetration within existing accounts.
Sales Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process including preparing and processing customer quotations to meet monthly sales targets.
Account Health: Oversee credit control by managing payment follow-ups and maintaining healthy balances for all assigned accounts.
Territory Management: Travel across the assigned Northern territory (Penang Kedah Ipoh) to maintain strong market visibility.
Requirements :
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the food and bakery industry in Malaysia with a strong focus on the Northern region.
Education: A Bachelors Degree or Diploma in any relevant field.
Communication: Proficiency in English and local languages including Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively manage regional dealer networks.
Skills: Strong negotiation persuasive communication active listening and self-motivation.
Logistics: Must possess own transport and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Technical Savvy: Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
