Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Hydraulic and Hydrologic Modelling of wastewater networks. Experience with water distribution modelling is not required but would also be a valuable asset

• Support Infrastructure Planning Studies including: Master Plans Secondary Plans and Class Environmental Assessments

• Provide various technical responsibilities based on your background and experience ranging from municipal engineering analysis and design support servicing needs assessments and servicing capacity evaluation.

• Assist in mechanical system design including pumps valves and facilities.

• Administer small engineering projects and assist with the management of larger engineering projects.

• Provide project support and leadership duties.

• Participate in proposal writing and project/task scope development.

QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):

• Minimum 2 years of experience and expertise with modeling software. Software platforms include InfoWorks ICM InfoSewer SewerGEMS. Experience with InfoWater WaterGEMS and other platforms would be an additional asset

• 2-D modelling expertise (dual-drainage systems) is an additional asset

• ESRI ArcGIS expertise

• Strong hydraulic and hydrologic analysis capabilities.

• Engineering Degree
