The Grants team within Strategic Priorities and Coordination is currently seeking to temporarily appoint a Manager Strategic Delivery to lead and manage the ECCS grant management team. The role is responsible for overseeing and supporting the delivery of high-quality grant programs across DCCEEW. This role will also be integral the design and implementation of the new grants operating model recently approved by the DCCEEW Executive Leadership Team. This includes ensuring strong governance effective integration across policy program and project streams and delivery of outcomes and budget. The role also involves engaging and influencing a broad range of stakeholders managing risks and interdependencies and providing strategic advice and high-quality written material to senior leaders and Ministers on complex and sensitive matters.
About You
You are an experienced leader who brings strong judgement initiative and innovation to the delivery of complex programs and projects. You are comfortable operating with a high degree of accountability leading multiple project teams and managing budgets while ensuring resources are deployed effectively to achieve agreed outcomes.
You work collaboratively with peers and senior leaders to drive consistent best-practice project management approaches across the organisation. You have proven experience establishing and improving systems and processes that support high-quality program delivery and you are skilled in leading teams through change. You can plan implement and evaluate change initiatives using insights and outcomes to continuously improve future delivery.
