About the Job:
As part of this role you will manage demand planning and order management systems that support Targets Indirect Supply Chain including foundational platforms such as Demand Purchase Order management and Indirect Visibility. These products support Business Operations Construction & Special Projects teams as well as external 3PL and supplier partners and help manage indirect goods flowing to Target stores.
You will lead the modernization of legacy applications end-user tools and interconnected Smartsheet/Excel-based processes into scalable systematic product capabilities integrated with Targets modern technology
architecture and enterprise data platforms. A core focus of this role is to standardize end-to-end workflows across demand intake planning purchase order creation and inventory movement while enabling operational efficiency compliance and visibility.
You will build and evolve capabilities that capture and expose high-quality data to deliver end-to-end visibility across the Indirect Supply Chain supporting key business and operational metrics such as OTIF on-time ship supplier performance KPIs and inventory movement insights while integrating seamlessly with Retail Supply Chain products.
Role overview:
As a Sr Product Manager you will work in the product model and partner to develop a comprehensive product strategy multi-year roadmap and measurable business objectives (OKRs) for your products. You will leverage deep product knowledge customer feedback and data insights to assess value develop business cases and prioritize the highest-impact outcomes.
You will lead a cross-functional product team and work in close partnership with engineers UX designers data scientists and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality scalable solutions.
You will act as the voice of the product to senior stakeholders ensuring alignment on priorities outcomes and delivery while maintaining momentum across initiatives. You will actively develop an understanding of internal customer needs and the broader indirect supply chain ecosystem maintaining a clear product roadmap and backlog that reflects customer themes epics and stories.
This role plays a critical role in enabling 2026 priorities including chain-wide Commercial Activations and store remodel initiatives (EKI) where Indirect Supply Chain platforms are essential to coordinated execution across all stores.
You will encourage open exchange of information and viewpoints inspire teams to achieve high standards of performance and foster a sense of urgency to deliver results. You will partner across product teams and domains to overcome obstacles scale shared capabilities and deliver enterprise-level outcomes.

Key Outcomes (2026):
Standardize demand intake and planning across multiple internal and external sources
Automate purchase order creation workflows and enable systematic PO change management
Support in-house supplier compliance capabilities while maintaining and evolving third-party integrations
Enable end-to-end visibility into inventory movement to support supply chain performance metrics (e.g. OTIF on-time ship supplier KPIs)
Scale platforms that support indirect goods movement for enterprise-wide Commercial Activations and remodel initiatives
Requirements:
4-year college degree (or equivalent experience)
6 years of Product Management experience
Experience in Procure to pay warehouse management and Inventory management systems
Strong communication skills including building trust-based stakeholder relationships influencing across teams managing conflict and adapting in a fast-changing environment
Experience building internal tools and platforms to improve operational efficiency
Experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories iterative development scrum teams sprints personas)
