Job Summary
About the role
Reporting to the Infrastructure & Operations Manager Monument require an experienced I&O Engineer to provide support for infrastructure and application services. Monument operates a multi-Cloud environment which include on-premises M365/Azure and multiple 3rd Party SaaS services. The candidate must possess technical knowledge of how business applications function in the operating environment and how they have been configured and customised to meet specific business security and company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Installation configuration maintenance and support of infrastructure applications and systems in autonomy and with 3rd party service providers;
- Interact with Group Security IT Management 2nd/3rd Line Application Support and external service providers to coordinate and resolve incidents and problems.
- Maintain IT asset management and monitoring solutions within the growing Monument environment;
- Support changes to infrastructure and systems in line with change control processes.
- Support projects Infrastructure related activities in delivering high level design implementation plan and supporting the development of Operational Procedures ensuring the expected SLAs are met.
- Cooperate local Managed Service Provider and support them to ensure delivery of the services required maintaining all controls & monitors expected by regulator.
- Document and develop all required supporting Standard Operating Procedures to improve and control general systems operations
- Support development teams in design troubleshooting of their applications solutions
Role Requirements
- Knowledge understanding and expertise including but not limited to:
- Microsoft/Linux Server Group Policy RBAC PowerShell Certificates
- VMware Virtualisation vSphere vCenter
- Basic networking (Subnet Vlan)
- Veeam Backup & Replication Veeam One
- System Management and monitoring solutions (Zabbix).
- SIEM (ELK) Defender Snow Rapid7 EPC are a plus.
- Troubleshooting skills Solution minded Automation scripting
- Knowledge or exposure to IBM iPower (AS400) is a plus;
- Industry recognized qualifications advantageous;
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prioritize work efficiently and effectively.
- Regulation exposure (Dora etc.)
- Fluent in French and English
