Job Description
TheDirector Total Rewards North Americawill lead our compensation and benefits programs for our North American operations.This role will be instrumental inensuring that we attract retain and motivate top talent through competitive and equitable compensation and benefits practicesthat are aligned with the companys strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the North American market (USandCanada) strong analytical skills and a proven track record in compensation and benefits management.Responsibility will include oversightofsalarystructures incentive plans and equity programs ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:Design and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with the companys objectives and enhances employee engagement.Leverage the global benefits strategy to execute within assigned market.
Market Analysis:Conduct regular benchmarking and competitive analysis to ensure our compensation and benefits offerings are competitive within the industry and market.
Policy Oversight: Develop review and update compensation and benefits policies and programs to ensure compliance with legal standards and alignment with best practices.
Collaboration:Partner with HR leadership finance and senior management to align compensation and benefits strategies with business goals and workforce planning.
Program Management:Oversee the design and administration of compensation programs including base pay variable pay and benefits offerings that drive performance and satisfaction.
Data Analytics:Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to assess the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs making recommendations for improvements based on findings.
Team Leadership:Lead anddevelop a team of total rewards professionals supportingNorth America fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
Employee Communication:Develop effective communication strategies to ensure employees are informed and engaged with their compensation and benefits programs.
Budget Management: Manage the compensation budget and ensure programs are cost-effective.
Performance Management: Collaborate with HR and management to align compensation with performance management initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field. AMastersdegree or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of15 years of experience in compensationand benefitsmanagement with at least5years in a leadership rolewithin a large organization.
Leadership Skills:Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
Analytical Expertise:Proficient in compensation analytics and data interpretation with a strong understanding of relevant tools and software.
Market Knowledge:In-depth knowledge of North American compensation and benefits trends regulations and best practices.
Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
