YOUR IMPACT
As QA Automation Engineer (m/f/d) at ottonova you will...
- buildmaintain and extend a reliable automated test setup for our web applications and backend systems
- define andexecute manual tests during each sprintand communicate findings
- establish test processes advocate for testability and a userfocusduring the planningprocess and helpdefine quality gateswhen features are production ready
- contribute to the exchange of ideas with other QA engineers and the development of QA best practices
YOUR SKILLSET

Being in this role at ottonova means that you are experienced at an intermediate level: you have several years ofrelevant professional experience in a technology-focused environment.

- You are significantly experiencedinconceptualizationexecutionand development ofautomatedand manualtestsfor front-and backendsystems
- You have good workingknowledge of testingframeworks such as CypressorPlaywrightandamastery of your own toolset(operating managers IDE debugging packet managers etc.)
- You are familiarwithcontinuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)environmentslikeGitLab
- You have comprehensiveknowledge of RESTful APIs
- You have a proficiant level of spoken and written English
- You posses a great attention to detail
- You deliver consistentlyhigh-qualitywork anda strong senseof ownership
- You are a strong communicator collaborator and experienced with working in an agileinterdisciplinaryteam
- You are passionate about your career and posses a genuine interest in what you do. You are interestedin learning and developing your skill set andembracingchallenges.
