TF Truckload & Logistics is growingand we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Operations manager to join out team today.
Scope of Work:
- The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily trucking yard and warehouse operations to ensure safe compliant and efficient movement storage and distribution of materials. This role includes operational leadership across our transportation and warehousing activities. The Operations Manager supports company objectives by ensuring effective coordination between transportation yard operations and warehouse functions while maintaining high safety service and compliance standards. Experience with pipe transportation or over dimensional moves would be an asset.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily trucking yard and warehouse operations including dispatch routing load planning and material movements
- Ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations including inventory control material handling and yard organization
- Ensure efficient utilization of drivers equipment yard space and warehouse resources
- Lead coach and support drivers yard personnel warehouse staff and dispatch teams
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations yard safety standards and company policies
- Monitor driver performance hours of service safety records and yard safety practices
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure fleet and material-handling equipment are safe and operational
- Act as an escalation point for operational customer service and material-handling issues
- Monitor operational KPIs including utilization on-time performance inventory accuracy and cost control
- Collaborate with Safety HR Maintenance and accounting teams to support recruitment training and compliance initiatives
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in trucking yard or warehouse operations
- Experience with pipe transportation or over dimensional moves would be an asset
- General warehousing experience required
- SAP MM (Materials Management) knowledge preferred
- Proven leadership experience managing operational teams
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Experience with TMS ELDs and inventory or warehouse management systems
- Strong organizational communication and problem-solving skills
