About the Role:

We are looking for a barrier man/support man to cover the North East area of the district.

You will be working on a Clean Water contract throughout the Leicester area and beyond your main duties will be laying and removing all barriers and guarding from excavations in the highway and returning them to the correct depot making sure the site is swept and left in a tidy condition.

A company van will be provided as well as a mobile phone.

Previous experience in the utility industry is preferred a full UK driving license is required and you must be competent in the use of apps on a mobile phone as there is various apps that need to be completed for each site.

You will need to be physically fit as this is a manual role and some heavy lifting will be required.

Hours are 7am - 5pm daily with overtime and weekend work available as per business need.
You must pass a drug and alcohol test before you will be offered a place on an induction.

Location: Anstey Lane Leicester LE7 7GU

Hours: 50 hours per week

Salary: 27500 - 31000per annum.

Responsibilities - but not limited to:

• You will ensure that all activities associated with the job are carried out according to laid down procedures where possible.
• You will ensure that daily vehicle checks are carried out to ensure cleanliness and tidiness of vehicle and the safety of the driver and passenger.
• You will demonstrate initiative by constantly looking to see where improvements can be made.
• You will be happy to assist the public directing them through safe site lines when required.
